The Danny Rumph Classic is the place to be this weekend, and Chosen League founder and creator of Philadelphia Legendary Summer Hoops Month Rahim Thompson is in the building.

Thompson chopped it up with the Rumph Media Team talk about what The Rumph means to him, and the Philadelphia Legendary Summer Hoops Month initiative.

The calendar change into August marks the beginning of Philadelphia Legendary Summer Hoops Month to commemorate the history of summer basketball in Philly while placing the spotlight on the present.

This year marks the 18th Annual Danny Rumph Classic of Philadelphia’s premier cause-driven basketball tournament presented by the Daniel E. Rumph II Foundation. The organization and the yearly event aim to bring awareness to Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), the leading cause of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) for today’s youth.
